Instructions for Use – Oral Icon® Polishing Pastes

For use with the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher

Step 1: Preparation

1. Charge the device: Make sure the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher is fully charged before use. Use the included Type-C cable and a compatible USB charger.
2. Choose your polishing head: Select the appropriate polishing tip for your treatment:

• Polishing head (cup-shaped): For general polishing of the tooth surface.
• Umbrella polishing head (with ridges): For interdental spaces and hard-to-reach areas.

Select your polishing paste: Choose the right Oral Icon® Polishing Paste based on your needs:

• Coarse Grit: For stubborn stains and discoloration.
• Medium Grit: For weekly maintenance.
• Fine Grit: For a smooth finish and sensitive teeth.

Step 2: Applying the Polishing Paste

1. Attach the polishing head: Secure the selected polishing head firmly onto the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher.
2. Dispense the paste: Apply a small amount of polishing paste (about the size of a pea) to the center of the head. Make sure the paste is firmly in place to prevent splashing during use.

Step 3: Polishing the Teeth

1. Turn on the device: Press the power button to start the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher.
2. Set the speed: Use the mode button to select your preferred speed. It's best to start at the lowest setting, especially for first-time use or sensitive teeth.
3. Polishing motion:

• Gently place the rotating head on the tooth surface.
• Move the device slowly over the tooth and lift the head slightly every 2–3 seconds.
• Polish each tooth individually for about 10 seconds. Avoid applying excessive pressure.

Step 4: After Polishing

1. Turn off and clean the device: Switch off the device and remove the polishing head. Rinse it if desired or wipe it clean.
2. Rinse your mouth: Rinse thoroughly with water to remove any polishing residue.
3. Clean the handle: Wipe the handle of the device with a clean, slightly damp cloth.

Additional Tips

• Frequency of use: Once a week is usually sufficient. Fine Grit may be used more often if needed.
• Combine with daily oral care: Use the polishing paste as a supplement to your regular brushing routine. Continue brushing twice a day and cleaning between the teeth.
• For sensitive teeth: Start with Fine Grit and use a low speed setting.
• Consult if unsure: If you have enamel erosion, bleeding gums, or other dental concerns, consult your dentist before use.

• Not intended for swallowing: Spit out the paste after use and rinse your mouth thoroughly.
• Use under supervision for children: The paste is not harmful, but it is designed for adult use.

No worries. Oral Icon® Polishing Paste does not contain harmful substances like fluoride or titanium dioxide. Swallowing small amounts is not dangerous, but make sure to rinse your mouth thoroughly after use.
